Karachuonyo Bursary devolved to HELB

Students in Karachuonyo are stranded after finding out that they can no longer get access to their yearly bursaries just because the funds have been devolved to Higher Education Loan Board, some of the students were perplexed after visiting the CDF office at A Law Rachuonyo to pick forms for the same only to be told that the forms can be found in Nairobi anniversary Towers Helb Office. They were not given explanations on how the new devolved system works but were told that bursary will no longer be free but will be a loan which will be refunded at a rate that is not specified. This kind of partnership never put into consideration the middle colleges students that are not under the support of HELB therefore their fate in education is diverted to the den of roaring lions since they depend on the peanut bursary funds being allocated to them annually. They are now pleading with the owner of Karachuonyo CDF who is the area MP to consider them and help them to continue with their studies and have their ambitions achieved.
