Major blow to PDP party as governor Zachary Obado decamps to ODM

Party Hopping is specifically Kenyan political strategy of
failed politicians who cannot convince voters to vote them on their
own merit except through a popular political party. We know that
some of these hoppers are under investigations of grand
corruption accused of embezzling billions of public funds.
ODM has been accused by some of its members of selling
nomination certificates to the highest bidder whether they win
nominations or not.
Having known these weaknesses, the party hoppers are warming
up with blood money ready to bribe the voters and the party. This,
if allowed by ODM will break this party
The other way of doing business with the party is to convince ODM
to form a merger with other CORD affiliates so that they can bring
their little parties into the coalition so they can get automatic
tickets. Yes, this is both a possibility and likelihood particularly for
party leaders. BUT, and I mean but, if the opposition gets
engrossed in blood money and uses it to vet who contests what
seat, then you can bet straightaway that it will not form the next
government but if it forms it, it will be the most corrupt
Government Kenyans will ever see.
